Motors, rectifiers, control, braking, electrical and signal systems on railway trains all rely on copper and copper alloys. In addition, the electrification of the railway requires a large amount of copper and copper alloy, and more than 2T special-shaped copper wires are required for each kilometer of overhead conductors.

The wiring, hydraulic, cooling and pneumatic systems in the aircraft shall be made of copper, the bearing retainer and landing gear bearings shall be made of aluminum bronze, and the navigation instruments shall be made of diamagnetic copper alloy.
